Jefferson High School Band of Blue is proud to present
their 2011 program titled West Side Story.
Please enjoy the following selections from this classic, award winning musical by Leonard Bernstein: Maria, Mambo, Somewhere, America, and Tonight.

The Band of Blue has earned numerous awards including 32 consecutive Division I Superior ratings at the State Marching Band Festival and 36 consecutive Division I Superior ratings at the State Large Group Festival. The music department also provides performance opportunities through eight choral ensembles, two orchestras, and study in the Advanced Placement Music Theory class. All of the concert bands receive full academic credit plus physical education credit for the marching band in the fall. Individual or small group lessons are expected of all students who do not study privately. Each year the students are very active in preparation of solos and chamber ensembles for the City and State Solo and Ensemble Festivals.
