IMPORTANT TIME CHANGES FOR BLUE AND ORANGE GROUPS
NEW Jefferson Arrival Times at Conclusion of Tour on Wednesday,
June 16:
- Blue Group will arrive at Jefferson at 9 PM (with the Pink
Group)
- Orange Group will arrive at Jefferson at 7 PM (with the Green
Group)

Some flight numbers have changed. Go to the Calendar page
and look for flight numbers that are highlighted in yellow. Click

Posted June 3 --
- All students must bring their uniforms to practice Monday morning. At
8 a.m. Read Photography will take a picture of the Hawaii band. These pictures
will be available for purchase (if you wish). After the picture all students
will put uniforms in their garment bags and hang them on racks sorted by
Chicago bus number. The uniforms will stay at school until we depart for
Chicago.
- The only time students are required to wear khaki shorts
is at the Polynesian Cultural Center performance. The only time adults
are required to wear the official “aloha” shirts
is on the plane. Adults are not required to wear them
at performances, although they are welcome. Both students and adults are not
required to wear khaki shorts on the plane. They must have “aloha
shirts” but can wear any pants or shorts they wish.
- All instruments and garment bags will be checked at the airport. The
garment bag is not a carry-on. Students are allowed 2
carry-ons. Flutes and clarinets are counted as one carry-on.
- All students must have a flip folder and lyre for their
instrument. These are available for purchase from any music store. The
only exceptions are drum majors, colorguard and percussion.

All flight groups (except Green) will depart Jefferson one hour earlier than
announced due to potential delays at the airport and/or traffic.
Here are the new arrival times at Jefferson:
Midnight: Blue, Pink and Orange groups arrive at Jefferson
2:00 A.M.: Red and Yellow arrive at Jefferson
Everyone must be on time (or early) to check in at Jefferson. All
buses must depart for Chicago early. Anyone late will be left behind!
Parking:
Please park on the south side of the building. Do not park in the first 3 rows
in the fine arts lot. We need a few parent volunteers to set up parking cones
in the fine arts parking lot to save space for the charter buses.
