The
Jefferson High School Band of Blue is proud to present their
2007 program entitled Tutankhamun, an original composition for
marching band by Key Poulan.
The program is a musical and visual archeological adventure
depicting Howard Carter's discovery of the resting place of
the boy king of Egypt in the Valley of the Kings. The Band will
be performing two movements of the production this evening:
Movement 1 - Howard Carter's Discovery; and Movement 2 - Carter's
First Impression
"Wonderful Things". Throughout the program, take notice
of visual elements woven throughout the show of pyramids, a
flexing cobra, the Sphinx, hieroglyphics, and symbols reflective
of Giza and treasures found in the tomb of Tutankhamun.
